About the Opportunity
The Paralegal will act as the primary contact for legal requests and manage the legal intake process from request to completion. The position works with attorneys, business partners, internal teams, outside counsel and vendors to coordinate legal matters and maintain organised documentation.
The role places particular emphasis on contract administration and legal operations, alongside corporate matters, intellectual property, insurance, registrations, litigation coordination and compliance requests.

Eligibility Criteria
- An associate’s degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies or a related field.
- At least two years of paralegal experience focused on contracts or corporate law.
- Knowledge of contract law, legal terminology and standard contract provisions.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and organisational skills.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration or a related discipline; certification from an accredited organisation such as NALA or NFPA; and experience in a corporate legal department or a law firm specialising in contracts. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, contract-related risk management, legal research tools and contract lifecycle management platforms is also sought.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Draft, review and revise contracts and legal documents, and support attorneys during negotiations through summaries, change tracking and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain contract records, monitor renewals and expirations, obtain internal approvals, and prepare reports on contract status and obligations.
- Conduct legal research on contract terms, regulatory requirements and industry standards to support risk assessment.
- Manage intellectual property documentation, applications, filings, portfolio tracking and renewals.
- Coordinate insurance renewals, state business registrations, filings and registered agents.
- Support legal notices, claims and litigation matters through communication with internal teams and outside counsel.
- Maintain legal matter tracking systems and relationships with external legal partners and vendors.
- Coordinate HECVATs and related legal, privacy, security and compliance requests.
- Track outside counsel expenditure, invoices and other legal department costs, and support contract administration and compliance projects.
