About the Conference

Saveetha School of Law is organising a National Conference on “Fintech Law and Tax Regulation: Emerging Jurisprudence in the Digital Economy” on October 24, 2026. The conference will be conducted in hybrid mode at Heritage Guild, Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS.

The conference seeks to provide a multidisciplinary academic platform for examining the evolving intersection of financial technology, legal frameworks and taxation in the digital economy. With rapid developments in digital payments, cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence and emerging financial services, the conference will explore the regulatory, legal and taxation challenges arising from the transformation of traditional financial systems.

The conference will particularly examine emerging jurisprudence, regulatory approaches, consumer protection, data privacy, financial inclusion and tax compliance within the fintech ecosystem. It aims to facilitate meaningful academic and professional dialogue among academicians, legal practitioners, policymakers, tax professionals, financial experts, industry professionals and research scholars.

• FinTech & Financial Regulation: legal frameworks for digital finance, RBI regulations, payment systems and regulatory innovation.

About the Call for Papers

Researchers, academicians, legal practitioners, professionals and students are invited to submit their research papers for this call for papers.

Abstract Submission

The abstract must be 200–300 words, in Times New Roman 12 pt, centred alignment, with 1-inch margins. The abstract must include the title, author(s), affiliation and contact information.

Full Paper Submission

The full paper must be 2,000–3,000 words, in Times New Roman 12 pt with 1.5 line spacing. It should include the title, abstract, introduction, methodology, results/analysis, discussion, conclusion and references. Referencing must conform to Bluebook (21st edition) or APA style in the form of footnotes. The file format is .doc or .docx. Selected research papers will be subjected to peer review and subsequently published in an ISBN-assigned publication. Presentations should be between 5–7 minutes.
