The organisation also undertakes projects through TechReg Forum, its technology and policy engagement platform, supporting research, publications, and stakeholder engagement on issues relating to digital markets, artificial intelligence, data governance, competition law, telecom regulation, media regulation, and platform accountability.
About the Opportunity
Applications are invited for the position of Research & Policy Associate. The role is suited for professionals with an interest in technology law, public policy, digital governance, and regulatory affairs.
The selected candidate will undertake legal and policy research, monitor regulatory developments, prepare research outputs, and contribute to publications and stakeholder engagement initiatives across emerging technology and governance issues.
Mode
The position will be conducted in hybrid mode.
Location
The position is based in Delhi or Mumbai, with hybrid working arrangements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with a background in Law, Public Policy, Economics, or a related interdisciplinary field.
- Candidates with 0–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, regulation, digital governance, or competition policy.
- Ability to analyse developments across law, technology, markets, and public policy.
- Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and independent thinking.

Legal & Policy Research
- Conduct legal, regulatory, and policy research.

- Prepare research notes, policy briefs, presentations, and comparative studies.
- Contribute to publications and thought leadership initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to projects undertaken through the TechReg Forum.
