6th All India Moot Court Competition by Quantum University School of Law: Register by October 24!

Quantum University School of Law is organising the 6th All India Moot Court Competition, Juris-Prudence ’26, with registration open until October 24, 2026.

About Quantum University School of Law

Quantum University School of Law is situated in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, with the university’s corporate office in Dehradun. Quantum University is a private university in North India that integrates interdisciplinary learning with opportunities for students to pursue their academic and professional interests.

The university encourages students to explore combinations across different fields while also supporting individual interests in areas such as theatre, sports, music, dance and photography.

About the Competition

The 6th All India Moot Court Competition, Juris-Prudence ’26, will give law students an opportunity to develop legal research, drafting, advocacy and oral argumentation skills while engaging with a contemporary legal issue of national importance.

The competition will begin with online preliminary rounds followed by knockout rounds. Outstation teams will be provided shared accommodation during the on-campus rounds.

Theme

The theme of the competition is The Legal Battle Against Paper Leak.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. programme may participate.
• Students pursuing a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme may participate.
• A bona fide certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the institution must be submitted along with the memorials.

Registration Fee

• Early Bird Registration for preliminary rounds: ₹3,000 per team, payable by October 15, 2026.
• Regular Registration for preliminary rounds: ₹4,000 per team, payable by October 24, 2026.
• Additional fee for teams qualifying beyond the preliminary rounds: ₹3,000.

The preliminary-round fee and the additional qualification-stage fee are separate and payable at the respective stages. Registered teams must attach the payment receipt to the registration form. Registration fees are non-refundable after confirmation.

Prizes

• Winning Team: ₹11,000 cash prize, free certification courses, a trophy for each team member and a Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
• Runner-Up Team: ₹7,000 cash prize, 50% discount on certification courses, a trophy for each team member and a Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
• Best Memorial: ₹2,000 cash prize, 10% discount on a certification course, trophy and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
• Best Speaker: ₹2,000 cash prize, 10% discount on a certification course, trophy and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
• Best Researcher: ₹2,000 cash prize, 10% discount on a certification course, trophy and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
• Participants reaching the quarter-finals and semi-finals will receive Certificates of Appreciation of Merit, while other participants will receive E-Certificates of Participation.

• Last date for seeking clarifications on the proposition: October 26, 2026.
• Submission of soft-copy memorials: October 26, 2026, by 11:59 PM.
• Researcher Test: October 30, 2026, online.
• Preliminary Rounds I and II: October 31, 2026, online.
• On-desk registration and hard-copy memorials: November 19, 2026, on arrival.
• Inauguration, Pre-Quarter-Finals and Quarter-Finals: November 20, 2026, offline.
• Semi-Finals, Finals and Valedictory Ceremony: November 21, 2026, offline.

Registration Process

• Register through the official registration form or the registration QR code in the brochure.
• Pay the applicable registration fee and attach the payment receipt to the registration form.
• Email the registration form and payment receipt to mootcourtsociety@quantumeducation.in.
• Submit the bona fide certificate with the memorials.
• Submit the soft-copy memorial in PDF format by October 26, 2026, and carry hard copies as required.
• Submit two passport-sized photographs of each team member at on-desk registration.
• Email queries on the moot problem by October 26, 2026.
