About the Opportunity

The chamber is looking to welcome one Legal Intern and one Trainee Associate to join its practice in Lucknow. Both positions offer an opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on exposure to litigation, including legal research, drafting, case preparation and court proceedings.

Number of Positions

There is one position each for Legal Intern and Trainee Associate.

Location

The positions will be based at the chamber’s office in Lucknow.

Legal Intern

The chamber is preferably looking for a third-year law student with a genuine interest in litigation and advocacy. The internship will involve:

• Legal research and case-law analysis.
• Assisting with drafting petitions, applications and written submissions.
• Preparing case briefs and matter notes.
• Attending court proceedings.
• Assisting with ongoing civil and criminal litigation.
• Gaining practical exposure to litigation strategy and procedure.

Trainee Associate

The chamber is also looking for a Trainee Associate who is keen to develop a long-term career in litigation. The role will involve greater responsibility in:

• Legal research and drafting.
• Preparation and management of matters.
• Assisting in court proceedings and hearings.
• Conference and case preparation.
• Handling day-to-day litigation work under supervision.
• Developing practical advocacy and litigation skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess strong research and drafting abilities, attention to detail, professional discipline and, most importantly, a genuine commitment to developing a career in litigation.
