About the Opportunity
The Intern, Company Secretary role is part of PhonePe’s Legal department. The selected candidate will work on routine company-law compliance, meeting documentation, statutory records and regulatory filings. Responsibilities also include tracking compliance requirements for group entities and providing corporate secretarial support across jurisdictions.
Location
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The listed office is at Salarpuria Softzone, Bellandur, Bengaluru.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be CS qualified.
- Good knowledge of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) provisions is required for the related filing work.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure routine compliance with company-law requirements.
- Assist with documents prepared before and after Board and general meetings, including minutes and resolutions.
- Prepare and submit routine and event-based e-forms to the Registrar of Companies.
- Prepare and update the company’s statutory registers.
- Assist with FEMA-related filings.
- Track which company-law requirements apply to group entities.
- Support due diligence at various levels.
- Provide corporate secretarial support under different jurisdictions.
