Laila Kazmi is a Patna-based advocate practising criminal, civil and matrimonial litigation, and is associated with M A Associates law firm and the Patna High Court. A graduate of Patna Law College, Patna University, she works in criminal law, matrimonial law and dispute resolution, and is a member of the Young International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (YIAMC). The internship is offered at the Patna Sessions Court.
About the Opportunity
Laila Kazmi is accepting applications for a 1-month internship at the Patna Sessions Court, offering hands-on experience in core litigation. Interns will gain direct exposure to criminal and matrimonial trials, attending live courtroom proceedings and working on real drafting and research assigned during the internship.

The internship will be based at the Patna Sessions Court, Patna.
Duration
The internship will run for a period of 1 month.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with strong research, writing and drafting skills.
- Candidates with a genuine passion for litigation.
- Candidates on corporate or non-litigation tracks have been requested not to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities
The interns will:
- Attend live courtroom sessions and trial procedures.
- Work on real legal drafting and case research.
- Gain direct exposure to criminal and matrimonial trials.
