About the Opportunity
Wadhwa Law Chambers is inviting applications for the position of Patent Agent to join its IP Prosecution Team in New Delhi. The role will primarily involve patent drafting and prosecution, examination report responses, hearings before IP Offices and management of IP portfolios.
Exposure to trademark and copyright prosecution would be an advantage.
Location
The position is based in New Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Registered Indian Patent Agents.
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills are required.
- Prior experience with an IP law firm is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
Patent Drafting & Prosecution
The Patent Agent will be involved in patent drafting and prosecution matters.
Examination Reports
The role will include preparing responses to examination reports.
IP Office Hearings
The selected candidate will handle hearings before the relevant IP Offices.
IP Portfolio Management
The role will involve management of IP portfolios.
Trademark & Copyright
Exposure to trademark and copyright prosecution would be an advantage.
