The work will involve legal research, drafting, court filings, court hearings, client conferences, document review, due diligence and other tasks connected with litigation practice.

Chambers of Adv. Aditya Lele is inviting applications from law students who want to build a career in litigation. Selected interns will gain practical exposure to civil, commercial, constitutional, real estate and writ litigation.

The internship will also provide experience in matters before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, Co-operative Court, tribunals and other judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.

Location

The internship will be based in Fort, Mumbai. Candidates based in Mumbai will be preferred.

Mode

The internship will be conducted in offline mode.

Duration

The internship will be for a period of two months.

Joining Date

Selected candidates must be available to join from Monday, September 28, 2026.

Stipend

The internship is paid.

Eligibility Criteria

• Fourth- or fifth-year LL.B. students pursuing a five-year course.
• Final-year LL.B. students pursuing a three-year course.
• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and legal research databases.
• Sincere, punctual and willing to learn.
• Availability to join from September 28, 2026.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and case-law analysis.
• Assist with drafting legal notices, plaints, written statements, affidavits, applications, appeals, writ petitions, rejoinders and other pleadings.
• Prepare case briefs, synopses, lists of dates and written submissions.
• Assist with court filings, e-filings and procedural compliances.
• Assist in matters before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, Co-operative Court, tribunals and other authorities.
• Attend court hearings and client conferences.
• Review contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Assist with due diligence and document verification.
• Maintain case files and litigation records.
• Assist with litigation strategy and preparation of legal opinions.
• Liaise with court staff and counsel.
• Undertake other work incidental to litigation practice.
