About the Opportunity
An internship opportunity is available with an Additional Public Prosecutor at the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi for one (1) legal intern. The paid legal internship will provide practical exposure to court proceedings, drafting, legal research and litigation work.
An Additional Public Prosecutor appears on behalf of the State in criminal matters before the High Court, and interns will gain a close view of prosecution work and day-to-day court practice.
The practice area of the chamber is criminal and litigation work, and interns will gain an inside view of how matters are prepared and handled before the High Court of Delhi.
Number of Positions
One (1) intern only will be selected.
Location
The internship will be based at the High Court of Delhi, New Delhi.
Stipend
The internship is paid.

Work & Learning Opportunities
- Legal drafting and preparation of documents.
- Court filing procedures and practical filing work.
- Preparation of case briefs and case summaries.
- Legal research and analysis.
- Assisting with matters listed before the Hon’ble High Court.
- Understanding day-to-day litigation and court procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have a genuine interest in litigation, and preferably have familiarity with:
- Familiarity with legal drafting.
- Familiarity with legal research.
- Familiarity with court procedures and filing.
- Familiarity with case briefing and analysis.
