About the Opportunity
NextEra Policy is looking for curious, driven and research-oriented individuals to join as Policy & Research Interns. One internship covers 14 sectors, with exposure to policy, geopolitics, international relations, technology and emerging regulatory issues.
This is not an internship where interns will be restricted to one subject or one policy area. The work at NextEra Policy spans 14 different sectors, including Banking & Financial services, Cybersecurity, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, Travel & Tourism, Technology & AI, giving interns the opportunity to understand how policy, regulation, technology, business and global developments interact across industries.
Interns will also work on geopolitical scenarios, international relations, comparative policy developments and multiple sector-specific policy issues, building a broader understanding of how domestic policy decisions are influenced by global economic, technological and strategic developments.
Duration
The duration of the internship is 1 month.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in virtual mode.
Stipend
Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹7,000.
Exposure
The internship offers exposure across Public Policy, Geopolitics, International Relations, Sectoral Research, AI, Regulatory Research, and Institutional Engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
NextEra Policy is particularly interested in individuals who have worked with, or want to work with, think tanks, policy organisations, technology companies, research institutions, consulting organisations, international affairs platforms or multidisciplinary teams.
Applicants should have strong research and analytical abilities, good written and verbal communication skills, curiosity about public policy, geopolitics, international relations and emerging sectors, and the ability to work independently and learn quickly. A good understanding and practical use of AI tools will be particularly important.
Selection Procedure
Step 1: Submit the application. Step 2: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Step 3: Selected candidates will join NextEra Policy.
