About the Opportunity
The UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports, National Law University Delhi, is organising a National Article Writing Competition on the theme “Governing Clean Sport: Ethics and Emerging Challenges.”
The competition aims to encourage academic discussion on contemporary developments in sports law, including anti-doping regulation, athlete rights, sports governance, intellectual property, artificial intelligence in sports, and global sports governance. Participants may write on any topic falling within the broader theme or the suggested sub-themes.

- The manuscript is between 3,000 and 5,000 words, exclusive of footnotes.
- The abstract must not exceed 200 words.
- Footnotes must follow OSCOLA 4th Edition.
- The similarity index (excluding footnotes and bibliography) must remain below 15%.
- The manuscript must not be under review or accepted for publication elsewhere.
- The use of AI for any purpose is strictly prohibited.
- Headings should follow the prescribed formatting structure mentioned in the brochure.

- Anti-doping law and criminalisation under Chapter VIA of the National Anti-Doping Act, 2022.
- Athlete rights, due process, and natural justice before CAS and domestic tribunals.
- The National Sports Governance Act, 2025.
- Intellectual Property Rights in sports, including broadcasting rights, publicity rights, and sponsorship.
- AI-assisted officiating, performance analytics, e-sports regulation, and NFTs in sports.
- Comparative and TWAIL perspectives on global sports governance and the Global South.
