About the Opportunity
Mohta & Associates is inviting applications from law students, 2026 law graduates, and candidates with 0–1 years of post-qualification experience for a Legal Internship. The internship is intended for candidates who are curious, driven, and eager to develop practical legal skills beyond academic learning.
Selected interns will gain exposure to legal research, drafting, court work, and real-world legal practice, along with mentorship and practical learning in a professional litigation environment.

The office is located at 3A, Garstin Place, 1st Floor, Room No. 104, Kolkata – 700001, near Bankshall Court.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students in their 3rd year and above are eligible to apply.
- Law graduates of 2026 and candidates with 0–1 years of post-qualification experience are also eligible.
- Candidates must be based in Kolkata.
- Prior internship experience is appreciated but is not mandatory.
- Applicants should be keen to learn, research, draft, and gain experience in day-to-day legal practice.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
Interns will gain practical exposure to legal research and research-based assignments.
Drafting
The internship will provide exposure to legal drafting and related work.
Litigation Support
Selected interns will receive court exposure and practical experience in litigation work.
Mentorship & Practical Learning
Interns will have opportunities to learn through mentorship and exposure to real-world legal practice.
