Mirchi is inviting applications from law students for an in-house legal internship with its legal team based in Mumbai.

About the Internship
This internship offers law students the opportunity to work closely with an in-house legal team and gain exposure to contract drafting, copyright compliance, statutory documentation, and litigation-related assistance. Interns will support the legal department in handling operational legal requirements connected with media collaborations, licensing arrangements, and regulatory compliance.
The internship is suitable for students interested in developing experience in media law, intellectual property documentation, commercial agreements, and corporate legal support functions.
Mode of Internship
This is an on-site internship requiring interns to work physically with the legal team at the Mumbai office.

Location
This internship is based in Mumbai at the Mirchi office.
Duration
The internship will be for a minimum period of one month on a continuous basis and candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred.
Working Days
Interns will be required to work five days a week from Monday to Friday as part of the internship schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Interns may be involved in:
- Drafting and reviewing artist agreements, influencer agreements, barter agreements, ticketing agreements, amendments, addendums, leave and license agreements
- Drafting statutory license notices and copyright takedown notices
- Preparing legal notices, recovery notices, NOCs, and Section 138 notices
- Conducting legal research on assigned topics
- Liaising with internal business teams on legal documentation requirements
- Assisting the legal team in litigation matters and coordination with external counsel
- Supporting maintenance of MIS records and documentation trackers
- Assisting with administrative legal tasks as required by the department
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be currently pursuing an LL.B. programme.
Candidates should:
- Be well versed with copyright law and the Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Possess strong communication, research, and analytical skills
- Be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
