MANN+HUMMEL is offering a Legal Intern opportunity within its in-house legal function in Bengaluru. The role involves supporting legal counsel and business stakeholders on day-to-day legal and regulatory matters.
About the Opportunity
The Legal Intern will support the in-house legal counsel on contractual, regulatory, litigation monitoring, legal operations and corporate secretarial matters. The position provides exposure to practical in-house legal work and coordination with regional stakeholders.

The internship will be conducted in hybrid mode.
Location
The position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Advisory
The intern will support the in-house legal counsel in addressing day-to-day legal queries raised by business stakeholders.
Contractual Matters
The intern will assist in identifying and summarising contractual risks, key obligations and commercial deviations.
Legal and Regulatory Research
The intern will conduct legal and regulatory research relevant to ongoing business activities and potential risk exposure.
Litigation Support
The intern will assist with litigation monitoring by tracking cases, hearing dates and deadlines and preparing internal dashboards.
Legal Operations
The role includes supporting legal operations such as digitalisation initiatives, internal trackers, KPIs and cost reporting.
Corporate Secretarial Matters
The intern will assist with corporate secretarial matters under the Companies Act, 2013, including board and committee documentation and statutory filings.
Corporate Housekeeping
The intern will assist with routine corporate housekeeping activities in coordination with regional stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students, preferably from the 4th semester onwards, or candidates pursuing comparable legal studies.
- Prior internship or student assistant experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of contract and civil law.
- Interest in corporate and in-house legal work.
- Structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style.
- Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn.
- Confident use of MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.
