About the Opportunity
The internship will provide exposure to real-world legal questions at the intersection of law, technology, regulation, and innovation. Interns will work on emerging technology issues and assist in developing legal research, frameworks, and opinions.
The opportunity is intended for candidates who are curious, analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in understanding how technology works and what the law says about it.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in remote mode.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with strong legal research and writing ability.
- Prior exposure to Technology Law, IPR, Data Protection, AI, or Cyber Law is an advantage.
- Candidates who are curious, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- Candidates who can take ownership of their work without requiring constant follow-up.
- Candidates comfortable with work activity and productivity monitoring in a remote role.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research and Drafting
- Conducting deep legal research on emerging technology issues.
- Analysing statutes, regulations, case law, and regulatory developments.
- Preparing research notes, legal briefs, and analytical memos.
- Assisting in developing technology-law frameworks and opinions.
Compliance
- Tracking new developments in AI, data protection, and technology law.
- Working on questions involving technology, regulation, and innovation.
Corporate Advisory
Interns will have exposure to technology contracts and legal questions involving emerging technologies and regulatory compliance.
