About the Opportunity
AVKS Legal Services is inviting applications for two Legal Intern positions for September to October 2026. The selected candidates will gain practical exposure to legal work across civil, criminal, testamentary and family law matters.
The internship will also provide exposure to proceedings before various courts in Mumbai.
Duration
The internship will run from September to October 2026.
Location
The internship is based at Fort Chambers, B Wing, near BSE Tower, 2nd Cross Lane, Fort, Mumbai – 400001.
Stipend
The internship provides travelling allowances only.
Practice Areas
The internship will provide exposure to civil, criminal, testamentary and family law matters.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be law students aged 18 years or above.
- Applicants must be comfortable with court travel.
- Applicants must be available for flexible timings.
- Applicants should have basic knowledge of Marathi.
- Applicants must be fluent in English.
- Applicants should have knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Roles & Responsibilities
Litigation Support
Selected interns will gain exposure to matters before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Courts, Family Court, Small Causes Court and JMFC Courts in Mumbai.
Legal Work Exposure
The internship will provide practical exposure to civil, criminal, testamentary and family law matters.
Court Proceedings
Interns should be prepared to travel to courts as required for work and proceedings.
