Working as part of an in-house legal team provides interns with an opportunity to gain insight into how legal advice supports business operations. Unlike traditional litigation-focused internships, this role offers exposure to corporate advisory, contract management, compliance, and commercial legal matters. Selected interns will work closely with experienced professionals while assisting the legal team on a variety of assignments.
About the Opportunity
Eleven Group is looking to onboard a Legal Intern on a long-term basis for its in-house legal team based in Gurgaon. The internship is suitable for law students who have an interest in corporate law and wish to build practical skills in legal advisory, contracts, and compliance.
Selected interns will have the opportunity to work on real business-oriented legal matters while supporting the legal department in its day-to-day functions. The role offers hands-on exposure to drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documentation, understanding regulatory compliance requirements, and assisting with corporate legal operations.
The organisation has indicated a preference for candidates with prior experience in corporate legal teams or law firms. Students whose previous internships have primarily focused on litigation may not be preferred for this role.
Duration
The preferred duration of the internship is six months. However, candidates who can commit to a minimum period of three months may also apply.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in offline mode.
Location
The internship will be based in Gurgaon.
Stipend
A stipend will be paid as per the company’s policy.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be currently pursuing an LL.B. degree from a reputed college or university.

Roles & Responsibilities
Corporate Advisory
- Assist the legal team in matters relating to corporate advisory work.
Contract Management
- Support the drafting, review, and management of corporate contracts and related legal documents.
Compliance
- Assist with compliance-related legal work and support the legal department in meeting regulatory requirements.
In-House Legal Support
- Work closely with members of the in-house legal team on day-to-day legal assignments and operational matters.
Preferred Experience
- Prior internship experience with a corporate advisory or corporate law team.
- Experience with a law firm or an in-house legal department will be preferred.
- Candidates whose experience is primarily litigation-focused may not be preferred.
