About the Opportunity
Lily Thomas & Saju Jakob is inviting applications for a one-month Law Internship for September/October 2026. The internship offers law students an opportunity to gain practical exposure by working closely with legal professionals in a professional legal environment.
Selected interns will be involved in legal research, drafting, case preparation, and administrative support while gaining insight into the day-to-day functioning of a legal practice.
Duration
The internship will be for one month during September/October 2026.
Location
The internship will be based at IP Extension, New Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be enrolled in an LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., or an equivalent law programme.
- Possess strong legal research and legal writing skills.
- Be familiar with legal databases and basic legal procedures.
- Have good communication and analytical abilities.

Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research and prepare research summaries.
Drafting
- Assist in drafting legal documents, contracts, and case briefs.
Case Management
- Review case files and organise legal materials.
Client & Litigation Support
- Attend client meetings, briefings, or hearings, where applicable.
- Provide administrative and paralegal support to the legal team.
