Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case laws, regulations and industry precedents, and synthesize findings into brief legal memoranda.
- Assist in document drafting, reviewing and proofreading of initial drafts of contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), standard business terms and internal policies.
- Support compliance and due diligence work, including routine corporate filings, assistance with due diligence for deals, and record-keeping for regulatory requirements.
- Manage and organise physical and digital legal files, summarise complex legal documents, and track key dates or contract renewal deadlines.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing materials for internal meetings, taking notes during discussions with external counsel or business stakeholders, and managing routine legal correspondences.
