Roles & Responsibilities

Legal Research

For the Legal Associate (Contracts) role, interns will conduct legal research and analysis across a range of matters.

For the Practice & Strategy role, interns will research statutes, case law and contractual issues and analyse the underlying legal and commercial questions.

Drafting

Interns will assist with drafting, reviewing and revising legal documents, agreements, notices and other legal work products.

Contract & Commercial Work

The Contracts role will involve analysing legal and commercial issues and translating research into clear and practical legal work.

Client Matters

Interns will support the team on live client matters, with responsibility increasing based on performance.

Technology & AI

Interns in the Practice & Strategy role will use AI and legal technology in their everyday work and assist in testing, evaluating and improving technology-enabled legal workflows.

Business Development

The Practice & Strategy role may involve supporting business development and client outreach, preparing for meetings and pitches, following up with clients and contacts, organising events, and developing internal knowledge resources.

Practice & Strategy

Interns will work with experienced lawyers and the Founder / Partnerโ€™s Office on substantive legal matters, client-related work, technology-enabled workflows and broader firm initiatives.
