Applications are open for the position of Research Intern at the Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE). The one-month hybrid internship offers law students an opportunity to work on competition law, technology policy, international trade, and public policy.

About Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE)

The Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE) is an India-based law and policy think tank specialising in regulatory strategy, competition law, and good governance. The Centre provides legal representation, stakeholder management, media engagement, and policy research services to public and private stakeholders.

CCLE has advised the Competition Commission of India (CCI), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and the Department of Consumer Affairs. It also collaborates with industry bodies and civil society organisations on legal and policy initiatives.

About the Opportunity

The Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE) is inviting applications for the position of Research Intern. Selected interns will work on projects relating to competition law, technology policy, international trade, and public policy while collaborating with government departments, corporations, and civil society organisations.

The internship provides practical exposure to legal and policy research, publications, regulatory developments, and stakeholder engagement.

Number of Positions

There are two Research Intern positions available.

Duration

The internship will be conducted for one month.

Mode

The internship will be conducted in hybrid mode.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should be in the final year of their registered programme.
  • Early-stage candidates may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Roles & Responsibilities

Legal & Policy Research

  • Monitor and compile national and international developments in competition law, technology policy, and regulatory affairs.
  • Conduct research on legal and public policy issues.

Publications

  • Prepare concise research notes for the management.
  • Publish research articles in newspapers.

Events & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Participate in webinars and in-person conferences hosted by academic institutions.
  • Assist in stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Digital Outreach

  • Prepare content for social media posts and outreach activities.
