About the Internship
The FortiFend Legal Internship is a two-month internship programme designed for law students interested in intellectual property law, corporate legal practice, and commercial advisory work. Interns will work closely with the firm’s legal team and gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, due diligence, intellectual property management, and corporate documentation.
The internship offers a unique opportunity to understand the intersection of intellectual property protection, corporate governance, and commercial transactions while developing practical legal skills relevant to modern legal practice.

The internship will be conducted from June 1, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

This is an in-office internship.
Location
The internship is based in Hyderabad.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of a five-year LL.B. programme may apply.
- Students in the 2nd or 3rd year of a three-year LL.B. programme are also eligible.
- Candidates should possess a strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property law, and corporate law.
- Excellent legal research and drafting skills are required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and legal research databases is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
Intellectual Property Research
- Conduct trademark searches and intellectual property-related research.
- Assist in copyright registration and related intellectual property formalities.
- Monitor intellectual property renewals and compliance requirements.
Corporate Documentation
- Assist with company incorporation documentation and corporate filings.
- Support due diligence exercises and corporate compliance processes.
- Maintain records and documentation relating to corporate transactions.
Legal Drafting
- Draft legal notices, cease-and-desist letters, and responses to intellectual property objections.
- Assist in preparing agreements, legal correspondence, and commercial documentation.
- Support lawyers in reviewing and analysing legal documents.
Client & Compliance Support
- Coordinate with clients regarding documentation and compliance requirements.
- Maintain case trackers and monitor corporate compliance deadlines.
- Assist with administrative and project-related legal tasks.
