About Environmental Law Research Institute
Environmental Law Research Institute (ELRI) is a multidisciplinary nonprofit environmental research and policy analysis institute based in Nigeria. Its work is focused on advancing environmental law, governance and protection in Nigeria and across sub-Saharan Africa, while protecting environmental rights and supporting practical solutions for environmental challenges.
ELRI provides research, policy analysis, legal drafting, project management, consultancy, advocacy, training and information dissemination services. The institute works with a dedicated team that includes legal practitioners, social scientists and environmental scientists, and has experience working with international organisations and other partners.
About the Opportunity
The ELRI Internship Programme 2026 is intended for driven recent graduates who want to develop their interest in environmental law, research, writing and advocacy. The programme offers a paid, hybrid internship with an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the institute’s work.
