About the Opportunity
The firm is expanding its team through two full-time office-based roles. The Mumbai opening is for a Legal Intern, while the Pune opening is for a Legal Associate. Both positions cover the practice areas and responsibilities described below.
Legal Internship – Mumbai
- Fourth- or fifth-year students of a five-year law course, or second- or third-year students of a three-year law course.
- Minimum commitment of six months.
- Full-time work from office.
- High-performing candidates will be considered for an assessment internship or a pre-placement offer.
Legal Associate – Pune
- One to two years of post-qualification experience is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with exceptional drafting credentials, relevant internship experience and strong CVs may also apply.
- Full-time work from office, with remote work permitted on rare, need-based occasions.
- Remuneration will follow industry standards, based on experience and capability.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Structure, vet and negotiate commercial agreements; assist with corporate advisory and contract lifecycle management.
- Draft legal notices, plaints, written statements and applications, and manage court and briefing procedures.
- Handle trademark filings, opposition drafting, IP assignments and brand protection advisory.
- Draft data processing agreements and privacy policies, and advise on technology and regulatory compliance, including DPDPA.
