About the Opportunity

Consently is growing its team and looking for motivated interns and trainees who want hands-on experience in real privacy engagements. The opportunity is open to interns and trainees, and offers exposure to live compliance projects, mentoring from experienced privacy professionals, and a chance to build a career in one of the fastest-growing areas in India.

The internship will be conducted remotely.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supporting DPDPA compliance projects for clients across industries.
• Assisting with data inventory, data mapping and ROPA (Record of Processing Activities).
• Helping prepare DPIAs and gap assessments.
• Drafting and reviewing privacy policies, notices and consent frameworks.
• Tracking regulatory updates and preparing research notes.
• Contributing to client documentation, status reports and webinar content.

Eligibility Criteria

• Knowledge of DPDPA, GDPR and PDPL.
• Any certification in data privacy is preferred.
• Prior experience in data privacy consulting is a plus.
• Strong research, writing and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
