About the Opportunity
The internship is intended to provide law students with practical exposure to litigation, dispute resolution and legal drafting. Interns may work on court proceedings, legal research, case preparation and other aspects of day-to-day legal practice.
Selected interns may also participate in matter discussions and client interactions, subject to confidentiality and professional discretion.
Duration
The internship will be for a period of 1–3 months and will cover the October–December 2026 period.
Location
The internship will be based at the firm’s office in Kolkata.
Working Days
The internship will be conducted from Monday to Saturday.
Reporting Time
The reporting time will be 9:30 AM.
Practice Areas
The internship will provide exposure to litigation and dispute resolution, along with related legal research, drafting and case preparation work.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students currently pursuing their 3rd, 4th or 5th year of a 5-year LL.B. programme.
- Candidates with prior internship experience in litigation or law firms.
- Students with strong legal research, drafting and communication skills.
- Candidates with a genuine interest in litigation and dispute resolution.
- Individuals who are sincere, responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
Roles & Responsibilities
Litigation Support
Interns may receive exposure to court proceedings, procedures and filing processes, as well as litigation and dispute-resolution matters.
Legal Research
Interns may undertake legal research and case-law analysis as part of matter preparation.
Drafting
Interns may work on legal notices, pleadings, applications and other legal documents.
Case Management
Interns may assist with case preparation and participate in matter discussions.
Client Interactions
Interns may have opportunities for client interactions, subject to confidentiality and professional discretion.
