Baid IP & Legal is looking to onboard a legal intern with an interest in contracts, intellectual property and legal research, as the firm’s practice continues to grow.
This is not a purely research-based internship. The selected candidate will actively contribute to live client matters under supervision and will be expected to take ownership of assigned work from the outset.
The role is designed to give the intern practical, hands-on exposure to how a growing IP and legal practice serves its clients on a day-to-day basis.
Mode
The internship will be conducted remotely. However, there is a preference for candidates based in Mumbai, as this allows easier coordination with the team where required.
Roles & Responsibilities
The role will involve practical exposure to a broad range of contractual, intellectual property and advisory work, including:
- Contract drafting and review.
- Trademark searches, filings and prosecution before the registry.
- IP portfolio management.
- Drafting of legal notices.
- Company policies.
- Legal research and general advisory work in support of the firm’s clients.
