About the Opportunity
Next Step Associates is hiring for two Associate positions in Corporate Litigation. The openings are for an experienced Associate with a minimum of two years of experience and a Fresher/Junior Associate with up to one year of experience.
Both positions require an LLB qualification and involve work related to Corporate Litigation. Candidates will be expected to have legal research and drafting skills, along with communication and analytical abilities.
Number of Positions
There are two Associate positions available in Corporate Litigation.
Location
The positions are based in Thaltej, Ahmedabad.
Working Days
The working days will be Monday to Saturday.
Working Hours
The working hours will be from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
Salary
The Associate – Corporate Litigation position offers a salary of ₹45,000–₹50,000.
The Associate – Fresher / Junior position offers a salary of ₹25,000–₹30,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Associate – Corporate Litigation
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- LLB qualification.
- Experience in Corporate Litigation.
- Exposure to NCLT and High Court matters.
- Knowledge of the IBC Code and Companies Act.
- Strong legal drafting and research skills.
- Good communication and analytical abilities.
Associate – Fresher / Junior
- Fresher to 1 year of experience.
- LLB qualification.
- Interest in Corporate Litigation.
- Basic knowledge of the Companies Act and IBC is preferred.
- Good legal research and drafting skills.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Freshers with relevant internship or court exposure can apply.
Roles & Responsibilities
Litigation Support
Associates will work in the area of Corporate Litigation, with the experienced position requiring exposure to NCLT and High Court matters.
Legal Research
The roles require strong legal research skills, including knowledge of the Companies Act and IBC for the relevant positions.
Legal Drafting
Associates will be expected to undertake legal drafting as part of their responsibilities.
Communication & Analysis
The positions require strong communication and analytical abilities, with the junior role also emphasising willingness to learn.
