About the Opportunity

AlienHouse Networks is looking for a motivated Legal & Compliance Intern to join its team and gain hands-on experience in legal research, documentation, contracts, compliance and corporate legal processes. The internship begins with a probation period of 2 months, and a potential long-term opportunity is offered based on performance.

The internship is remote.

Duration

The internship runs for a probation period of 2 months.

Stipend

The internship is unpaid during the probation period. A performance-based monetary reward will be provided at the end of the probation period, followed by a fixed performance-based stipend from the 3rd month.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct legal and regulatory research on relevant laws, rules and regulations.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing agreements, contracts, NDAs and other legal documents.
• Assist with compliance documentation and record management.
• Monitor and research applicable corporate, employment and business regulations.
• Assist in reviewing internal policies and processes for compliance requirements.
• Identify and flag potential legal or compliance concerns.
• Assist in preparing legal notices, letters and formal communications.
• Support compliance-related audits, checks and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and business information.
• Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory developments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pursuing or completed LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B. or a related law degree.
• Basic understanding of contract, corporate, employment and compliance law.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Good drafting and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to research and interpret laws and regulations.
• Prior legal or compliance internship or project experience is preferred.
