The Office of Adarsh Srivastava, Advocate, Allahabad High Court, is inviting applications from law students and aspiring legal professionals for an internship opportunity.
The internship is intended to provide practical exposure to High Court litigation, particularly in Criminal Law, the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, and GST Law.
About the Opportunity
The internship will provide practical exposure to criminal litigation, drafting, legal research, case analysis and High Court procedure. Interns will work on matters involving criminal law, cheque dishonour and proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, as well as GST-related litigation.
Selected interns will also gain exposure to case briefing, written submissions, arguments and litigation strategy.

Eligibility Criteria
- Law students pursuing LL.B., B.A. LL.B. or equivalent law programmes may apply.
- Candidates with a keen interest in criminal litigation, NI Act matters and GST law are encouraged to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities
Criminal Litigation
Interns will receive practical exposure to criminal litigation and criminal law practice before the High Court.
Legal Drafting
Selected interns will assist with drafting bail applications, anticipatory bail applications, criminal miscellaneous applications and other pleadings.
Legal Research
Interns will conduct research and analysis of criminal case law, statutory provisions, precedents and recent judicial developments.
NI Act Matters
Interns will gain exposure to matters arising under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, including cheque dishonour and related litigation.
GST Litigation
Selected candidates will receive exposure to matters relating to the Goods and Services Tax Act and GST litigation.
Case Analysis
Interns will assist with preparation of case briefs, written submissions and arguments.
High Court Litigation
The internship will provide practical understanding of High Court procedure and litigation strategy.
