Established in 2015, Sri Sathya Sai Law College for Women is a premier institution dedicated exclusively to the legal education and empowerment of women. It functions with a firm commitment to constitutional values, social justice, ethical professionalism and academic excellence, combining rigorous classroom instruction with practical legal training, research orientation and community engagement.
About the Event
AAYAM’26 – 1.0 is a two-day multi-competition law fest bringing together aspiring lawyers and young legal minds from across India to argue, negotiate, research, perform and engage with pressing questions of contemporary law and constitutional thought. The fest is built around six flagship competitions: the National Arbitration Competition, the National Debate (Extempore) Competition, the Nukkad Natak (Street Play) Competition on Gender Neutral Law, the National Research Paper Competition (Call for Papers) on the Uniform Civil Code in India, the National Quiz Competition and the Poster Making Competition on Human Rights / Gender Justice.
Eligibility
- Debate Extempore Competition: open to students from all recognised colleges, universities and school students (Class 10th to 12th); teams of 3 members; 2 teams per institution.
- Poster Making Competition: open to all eligible participants (Class 10th to college students); individual participation only.
- Arbitration Competition, Research Paper Competition, Quiz Competition and Nukkad Natak Competition: open to students of law colleges and schools across India, with participation as per each competition’s registration form.
- Navratri Garba Night: open to all, both event participants and non-participants.
Location
The fest will be held at Sri Sathya Sai Law College for Women, Bhopal (New Auditorium), Madhya Pradesh. The fest is offline (on-campus); the Research Paper Competition allows offline submission as per prescribed guidelines, and the online draw of lots and memorial exchange for the Arbitration Competition’s preliminary round will be conducted online on October 12, 2026.

- October 12, 2026: Online draw of lots and memorial exchange – Arbitration Competition, Preliminary Round.
- October 14, 2026: AAYAM’26 Day 1 – Opening Ceremony; Arbitration (Prelims); Debate Extempore (Preliminary); Quiz Competition; Research Paper and Poster Making Competitions.
- October 15, 2026: AAYAM’26 Day 2 – Arbitration (Advanced/Final Rounds); Debate Final; Nukkad Natak Competition; Valedictory Ceremony, Prize Distribution and Garba Night.
- September 21, 2026: Research Paper – last date of submission (abstract/full paper).
- September 24, 2026: Research Paper – intimation of acceptance.
- October 10, 2026: Research Paper – final submission deadline.
Fee Details
- National Arbitration Competition: Rs. 3,000 per team.
- Quiz Competition: Rs. 1,500 per team (team of 2 members).
- Debate Extempore Competition: Rs. 1,500 per team of 3 (Rs. 500 per member).
- Nukkad Natak Competition: Rs. 1,000 per team (team of 10–12 members).
- Poster Making Competition: Rs. 1,000 per participant (individual participation; includes event kit and lunch).
- Garba Night: Rs. 200 for non-participants of the event (open to all); free for registered participants.
Research Paper Submission – Fee Structure
Authors are to register for the competition and make payment only after the acceptance of their abstract.
- Academicians, Professionals and Practitioners: Rs. 1,300 – Rs. 1,500.
- Students and Research Scholars (Presenters): Rs. 800 – Rs. 1,000.
- Attendees (Non-Presenters): Rs. 500.
Prizes
A formal Prize Distribution will be part of the Valedictory Ceremony on October 15, 2026, along with certificates of participation for all attendees.
