About the Opportunity

The Legal Intern — Corporate & Ventures will work closely with the Chairman and New Ventures team. The role covers legal research, documentation, contracts, corporate structures, investments and coordination with external legal advisers. It seeks candidates who can investigate an issue, explain it clearly and help take matters through to completion.

Eligibility Criteria

• Final-year law students, recent law graduates, or candidates with up to one to two years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to corporate law, commercial contracts, venture capital, private equity or legal research is advantageous, but not essential.
• Strong writing, research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Initiative, ownership, discretion and professionalism, along with comfort using AI, research platforms and productivity tools responsibly.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting, reviewing and organising NDAs, agreements, term sheets and other legal documents. Identify key commercial terms, obligations, risks and deadlines.
• Maintain legal records, document trackers and contract repositories, and coordinate signatures, approvals and execution.
• Support company incorporations, corporate structuring, regulatory research, investment documentation, shareholder agreements and governance matters.
• Coordinate with company secretaries, external lawyers, consultants and other advisers.
• Research legal and regulatory questions, prepare concise summaries, identify matters requiring professional advice and support legal due diligence.
• Track legal matters, filings, deadlines and pending actions, and follow through on documentation and closure.
