About CCMDR
The Centre for Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution (CCMDR) is based at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat. It brings academic study and practical engagement together through work in mediation, arbitration, negotiation and conflict management, including workshops, competitions and collaborative initiatives.
About the Publication
The CCMDR Blog publishes writing about the legal frameworks, institutions and practices used to prevent and resolve disputes. Its official website covers alternative dispute resolution and invites contributions from the legal community. Selected manuscripts from this call will appear on the Centre’s website.
About the Call
The theme is “Reimagining International Arbitration”. Contributors are invited to analyse changes in commercial and investment arbitration, including developments in different jurisdictions, arbitral institutions and dispute-resolution practice. The call seeks arguments that combine an original perspective with critical analysis and practical relevance.

- Recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.
- Institutionalisation of arbitration.
- Diversity and inclusion.
- Technology and other developments affecting international arbitration.
Eligibility Criteria
Students, researchers, academicians and legal practitioners may contribute. The publication’s broader guidelines also welcome mediators, arbitrators and policy professionals. A submission may have no more than two authors.
Submission Guidelines
- Prepare an original, unpublished English manuscript of 1,200–1,800 words. The guidelines exclude the title, author biography and hyperlinks, and exceptionally necessary footnotes, from the word count.
- Use hyperlinks for references wherever practicable. Necessary footnotes should follow OSCOLA, fifth edition.
- Supply three to five keywords and a short biography of each author, limited to two lines.
- Do not submit the same manuscript elsewhere while CCMDR is considering it. Include the prescribed originality undertaking.
- The usual similarity ceiling is 10%; AI-generated material must remain within 15%.
Formatting Guidelines
Submit a Word document (.doc or .docx). Use 12-point Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, justified text and six-point paragraph spacing before and after paragraphs.
