United Nations ESCAP is recruiting an Environment Affairs Intern in its Environment and Development Policy Section. Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate programme, or the final academic year of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- The field of study must relate closely to the internship. Professional work experience is not required.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Teams is required.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required; another official UN language is an advantage.
- Design, video production, news or social media writing, and survey design skills are desirable.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct research, collect data and support analysis for knowledge products.
- Prepare infographics, greenhouse-gas projections or scenarios, presentations and posters.
- Support policy briefs and outreach materials.
- Help prepare conference agendas, background documents, side events and exhibits.
- Assist with webinars, online courses, consultations and climate awareness activities.
