About the Opportunity

The chamber is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and detail-oriented 1st and 2nd-year law students to join its legal practice as interns. The internship is an opportunity to build a strong foundation in legal research, drafting and court procedures right from the start of the law school journey.

Location

The internship will be conducted on-site in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria

• Current 1st or 2nd-year law students (5-year integrated programme or 3-year LL.B.).
• Students based in Gwalior.
• Strong command over Hindi and English, written and spoken.
• Eagerness to learn, a dedicated mindset, and basic knowledge of legal research tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assisting with legal research on diverse legal matters, including criminal law, civil disputes and public interest litigations.
• Observing and understanding court proceedings at the High Court and District Courts.
• Assisting in proofreading, organising case files and drafting basic legal documents.
• Managing day-to-day legal administrative tasks.
