The Chambers of J.P. Khaitan is the chambers of Senior Advocate J.P. Khaitan, based in Kolkata. Advocate Rishi Raju, an Advocate and Consultant (Taxation) associated with the chambers, appears in taxation and constitutional writ matters before the Calcutta High Court, including as junior counsel alongside Senior Advocate J.P. Khaitan.
About the Opportunity
The Chambers of J.P. Khaitan is looking for motivated law students to join as interns and long-term interns for the coming months. The opening is only for an internship at the chambers’ office in Kolkata, and not for online internships. Candidates open to a longer engagement will be given preference for long-term internships.
Location
The internship will be conducted in-office at the chambers’ office in Kolkata.
Eligibility Criteria
- BA LLB students, preferably 2nd year onward.
- LLB students, preferably 2nd year onward.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in building practice-area knowledge.

- Hands-on exposure to real matters and legal work.
- Opportunities for research, drafting and client-facing learning.
- Mentorship from experienced practitioners.
