DhiTantra is a LegalTech startup positioning itself as the legal operating system for India, building AI-powered citation-backed research, drafting assistance and secure matter management for the Indian legal ecosystem. The platform is designed so that AI supports, rather than replaces, careful legal judgment, and it serves lawyers, law firms and legal teams across the country.

About the Opportunity

DhiTantra is looking for a Law/Legal Intern who can work closely with its founding team and help build the product from a lawyer’s perspective. The internship is remote, requires a commitment of around 20 hours per week, and has a flexible, long-term duration. At the current stage, this is an unpaid internship, and as the company raises funding or begins generating customer revenue, it intends to transition the role to a paid opportunity based on the intern’s contribution and responsibilities, with the potential for a long-term paid role as the company grows.

The internship will be conducted in remote mode.

Duration

The duration is flexible, with a long-term opportunity available, and the commitment is approximately 20 hours per week.

Stipend

This is an unpaid internship at the current stage. Interns will receive an internship certificate and a recommendation based on performance, and there is a potential for a long-term paid role as the company grows.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students in their 4th or 5th year or final-year LL.B.
• Strong interest in LegalTech, legal research, drafting and technology.
• Good understanding of legal workflows and how lawyers actually work.
• Someone who is proactive, curious and willing to take ownership.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conducting legal research and case and judgment analysis.
• Reviewing and validating AI-generated legal work.
• Assisting with legal drafting and document workflows.
• Designing and improving workflows from a lawyer’s perspective.
• Identifying gaps and suggesting improvements in the LegalTech product.
• Connecting with lawyers and law firms to understand their requirements.
• Helping communicate DhiTantra’s product benefits and gather feedback.
• Working directly with the founders on real-world LegalTech problems.
