About the Opportunity

Patwardhan Law Associates has invited applications from eligible law students for a long-term internship at its Indore office. The internship offers practical exposure to legal drafting work before courts, tribunals and forums, with the firm laying strong emphasis on language, timelines and punctuality. A stipend is paid to the intern, and the internship may be extended for well-performing interns based on their work.

Duration

The internship will commence for an initial period of 1 month, which may be extended up to a maximum period of 6 months. Any extension beyond the initial period shall be considered upon completion of the first month, strictly on the basis of the intern’s work and performance.

Stipend

A stipend shall be paid to the intern at the end of each month.

Mode

The internship shall be conducted in physical mode only, at the firm’s Indore office. Remote or online internship shall not be entertained.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students pursuing the Five-Year Integrated LL.B. Programme: students of the 4th year and 5th year are eligible to apply.
• Students pursuing the Three-Year LL.B. Programme: students of the 3rd year are eligible to apply.
• Punctuality is non-negotiable, and strict adherence to timelines and office timings is a mandatory requirement of the internship.

Roles & Responsibilities

The work shall primarily comprise legal drafting across various courts, tribunals and forums. Proficiency and fluency in language is essential, as the work is time-sensitive and deadlines are to be strictly adhered to.
