About the Opportunity
The L’Oréal Groupe Data Compliance Team is hiring a Legal Intern in Data Privacy, AI and Cybersecurity compliance from July 2027. Within the Group Legal Department, the intern will join the Data Privacy team, whose role covers defining the global Data Compliance strategy and roadmap, ensuring data protection and cybersecurity compliance worldwide, and assisting functions such as IT, Digital, HR, Marketing, Beauty Tech and R&I in their projects and initiatives. The intern will support and assist the Global Data Privacy Office and will work in an international environment in French and English.

The internship will be based in Clichy, Île-de-France, France.
Duration
The internship will run for a period of 6 months.
Start Date
The internship will start from July 2027.

The internship is a full-time opportunity.
Stipend and Benefits
- A gross monthly remuneration of €1,700.

Eligibility Criteria
- Trainee lawyers and/or students holding an M2 in law with training in data protection.
- Fluency in English and French, with excellent written and oral skills.
- Knowledge of other languages would be a plus.
- An analytical and synthesising mind, rigour, organisation, and excellent communication and conviction skills.
- Proactivity, curiosity for innovation and an aptitude for teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Data Privacy Support
The intern will monitor developments in data protection legislation in France, Europe and other regions, and will work in close collaboration with the Data Protection Officers of the countries and the legal directors, contributing to the innovative initiatives undertaken by the Group.
Policy Implementation
The intern will ensure the implementation and follow-up of all data protection policies and will provide timely and pragmatic legal advice.
Data Privacy Tools
The intern will work on the deployment of Data Privacy tools across the Group, including the Register, Data Breach, Privacy by Design, LIA and TIA, notably the privacy impact assessment methodology and the legitimate interest assessment.
Compliance Documentation and Training
The intern will set up frameworks, tools and documentation relating to the Group’s compliance and will prepare training sessions.
Selection Process
The recruitment process includes a 30-minute interview with a recruiter, to present oneself and discuss the L’Oréal Groupe and its opportunities, followed by a 45-minute meeting with the potential future manager to discuss the missions of the role.
