VIT Chennai invites registrations for the 8th edition of VLS MUN 2026, a two-day Model United Nations conference on October 23-24.

About VIT School of Law

The VIT School of Law (VITSOL), the progeny of VIT University, is one of the best law colleges in Chennai. It entered the legal arena in 2014, aiming to impart quality legal education, equip young minds with knowledge of law and make them aware of the nuances of the legal profession. To improve advocacy skills, the school runs Moot Court and Debate societies, through which various national and international level programmes are conducted.

About VLS MUN

VLS MUN is the flagship Model United Nations conference of VIT School of Law. The conference has been organised since 2016 and is known for bringing together delegates from across the country and facilitating debates on globally relevant issues. The eighth edition of VLS MUN aims to promote a deeper understanding of current issues and encourage delegates to discuss diplomatic solutions through a holistic approach.

About the Event

VLS MUN 2026 is a two-day Model United Nations conference organised under the motto “Connect. Compete. Conquer.” It shall be held at the Chennai campus of VIT on 23rd and 24th October, 2026, and will feature the following committees:

• UNHRC
• UNGA DISEC
• ECOSOC
• UNSC
• AIPPM
• IPC

Mode and Location

The conference will be conducted in offline mode at VIT, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The conference will be held on October 23-24, 2026.

Registration Fee

The delegation fee is ₹1,500.

Registration Procedure

Participants may begin the registration process by scanning the QR code provided in the official brochure or by accessing the official link. The registration process involves filling out the Google Form with participant details and portfolio preferences, referring to the portfolio matrix, and completing payment through the VIT Events Hub. Participants may follow these steps:

• Access the Matrix, Google Form and payment link through the QR code or the official link.
• Fill in the Google Form with the required details and portfolio preferences, referring to the Matrix for the available portfolios.
• Await the portfolio allocation, which will be sent to the registered email address.
• Complete the payment through the VIT Events Hub.

To pay through the VIT Events Hub, participants need to create an account using the external participation option (VIT students may use their VTOP credentials), search for “8th VLS MUN”, click on “Register” to access the payment page, and complete the payment through the preferred payment gateway. Participants opting for pay later may access their profile, select “Registered Events”, click “Pay Now” and complete the payment.
