The Chambers is based in Chennai and its practice is centred on litigation and court practice before the High Court. The Chambers undertakes both litigation and advisory work, and interns will gain exposure to practice before the High Court.
About the Internship
NKM Law Chambers is inviting applications from motivated law students interested in gaining practical exposure to litigation and court practice. The internship is available in both part-time and full-time modes, and is based at the High Court, Chennai.
The internship will provide an opportunity to gain practical exposure to legal research, drafting, case preparation and court proceedings. Interns selected by the Chambers will work closely with its team on ongoing matters before the High Court.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research on matters handled by the Chambers.
- Assisting with drafting work.
- Supporting case preparation.
- Attending and observing court proceedings.
Mode and Location
The internship is available in part-time and full-time modes. The location is the High Court, Chennai.
Stipend
The interns will receive a performance-based stipend.
Eligibility Criteria
- 4th Year Law Students.
- 5th Year Law Students.
