About Balaji School of Law

Balaji School of Law (BSL), under Sri Balaji University Pune, is approved by the Bar Council of India. The school offers BA LL.B., BBA LL.B., three-year LL.B., LL.M. and postgraduate diploma programmes in Labour Laws and Taxation Laws.

BSL focuses on experiential learning through moot courts, mock trials, legal aid clinics, field visits to courts and prisons, and interactions with legal practitioners.

About the Call

Balaji School of Law is inviting abstracts for a book titled Corporate Governance: Compliance, Sustainability and the Future of Business Regulation. The book will examine the evolving dimensions of corporate governance and the changing regulatory environment in which modern businesses operate.

The call seeks contemporary legal, regulatory, corporate, economic and interdisciplinary perspectives on governance frameworks and the challenges faced by businesses in the twenty-first century. The broad theme of the call is corporate law.

Submission Guidelines

• Authors must initially submit an abstract of 250-300 words along with five keywords.
• The full manuscript should not exceed 3,500 words.
• Personal details must not appear in the abstract and should be provided separately in the cover letter.
• A maximum of three authors is permitted.
• Abstracts must be original and unpublished.
• Plagiarism exceeding 20% will not be accepted.
• The manuscript must be free from grammatical, spelling and other errors.
• Authors whose abstracts are selected will be asked to submit the full manuscript.

Formatting Guidelines

• Abstracts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format. No other format will be accepted.
• The main body of the manuscript must use Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment.
• Footnotes must use Times New Roman, 10-point font and 1.0 line spacing.
• Headings must use Times New Roman, 14-point bold and underlined formatting.
• Footnotes must follow the JILI Citation Format.

Publication Details

The book will be published with an ISBN by Juris Cognita International Publications.

Fees

• Students and faculty members of Balaji School of Law, Pune: No fee.
• Others, including students, academicians, research scholars and professionals: INR 800.
• Additional co-author: INR 500.

• Last date to submit the abstract: October 10, 2026.
• Notification of acceptance or rejection of the abstract: on a rolling basis up to October 11, 2026.
• Last date to submit the manuscript: November 2, 2026.
• Notification of acceptance or rejection of the manuscript: November 3, 2026.
