About the Opportunity
HEINEKEN Business Services India is inviting applications for a Legal & Compliance Intern / Trainee in Hyderabad. This Hyderabad legal internship offers practical exposure across legal research and advisory support, contract drafting, review and management, ethics and compliance initiatives, privacy and data protection including DPDPA and GDPR, corporate secretarial and governance activities, compliance monitoring and audit readiness, legal risk and governance reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in hybrid mode. Candidates must be based in Hyderabad.
Location
The opportunity is based in Hyderabad.
Tenure
The tenure is 12 months, with a possibility of extension for up to 3 additional months.
Stipend
A stipend is offered for this internship.
Practice Areas
The internship covers Corporate Law, Contracts, Compliance, Privacy and Data Protection, and Governance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Final-year LL.B. students.
- Recent LL.B. graduates.
- Company Secretary trainees.
- Candidates with a strong interest in Corporate Law, Contracts, Compliance, Privacy and Governance.
- Strong research, drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality and integrity.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research and Advisory
The intern will gain exposure to legal research and advisory support across the organisation.
Contracts and Compliance
The role includes exposure to contract drafting, review and management, ethics and compliance initiatives, compliance monitoring and audit readiness.
Privacy and Governance
The intern will work across privacy and data protection, including DPDPA and GDPR, corporate secretarial and governance activities, and legal risk and governance reporting.
