About the Conference
The Faculty of Law, Kalinga University, Naya Raipur is organising a Two-Day Global Conference on Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence – Comparative Approaches of Legal Governance. The conference will bring together academicians, judges, legal practitioners, policymakers, industry leaders, technologists and civil society representatives.
The programme will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, research paper presentations and case-study analyses on comparative AI governance models. It aims to promote responsible, ethical, accountable and globally harmonised approaches to AI governance.

The conference will take place on November 20 and 21, 2026, in hybrid mode with online and offline participation options.

The theme is “Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence: Comparative Approaches of Legal Governance.” The conference will examine accountability, transparency, bias, privacy, liability, human rights, technological innovation and regulatory harmonisation.

Eligibility Criteria
The conference welcomes original research contributions from academicians, faculty members, research and Ph.D. scholars, undergraduate and postgraduate students, legal practitioners, advocates, judges, judicial officers, policymakers, government officials, industry and AI professionals, researchers, law firms, corporate legal departments and international participants.
Submission Categories
- Abstract submissions and full-length research papers
- Individual and co-authored research papers, with a maximum of three authors
- Doctrinal, empirical, comparative and interdisciplinary research
- Case-study-based scholarly contributions
For full-paper submissions, at least one author must have a Doctorate or Ph.D., as specified in the brochure.
Submission Guidelines
Abstract
- Length: 150-300 words with five keywords
- Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment
- Author details must include title, name, designation, institution, contact number, email and correspondence address
- Abstract proceedings will be published with an ISBN
Full Paper
- Length: 2,500-3,000 words excluding references
- Include a 150-300-word abstract and five keywords
- Footnotes and references are mandatory; use APA citation style
- Maximum three authors
- Similarity must not exceed 10 percent and AI similarity must be below 10 percent
- Only registered and presented papers will be considered for publication

Additional charges apply after the registration deadline as specified in the brochure. A 50 percent concession is available to participants from Kalinga University and colleges having an MoU with Kalinga University.

- Papers must be original and unpublished.
- Authors must comply with the prescribed formatting and citation requirements.
- Similarity and AI-generated content must remain within the prescribed limits.
- Acceptance of abstracts will be communicated through email.
- Publication in Springer Nature is subject to peer review, editorial acceptance and publisher policies.
- Certificates and e-certificates will be provided; certificates of merit will be awarded to selected best paper presentations.
