About the Opportunity

Dycom Industries is hiring a Paralegal to assist with general corporate housekeeping matters, corporate governance matters and subsidiary actions. The role will also assist other members of the legal department as needed.

• Travel: Occasional domestic travel of up to 10% for team meetings or training

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support corporate entity activities, including completing corporate and governmental forms, tracking progress and updating parties involved and data sites.
• Aid in crucial projects by gathering and preparing documents, obtaining signatures, distributing documents, and scanning, organising and filing documents.
• Assist with general corporate housekeeping matters, including corporate resolutions, minutes and consents, and preparation of documents for signatures.
• Contribute to Board of Director activities and meetings by preparing, distributing and filing the documents needed for board and committee meetings.
• Assist with shareholder equity activity, including preparing, distributing and organising equity-related documents.
• Proof and edit documents, and assist with clerical duties and file organisation tasks.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal department as needed, and perform special projects and related duties as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Authorisation to work in the United States for the company
• Paralegal Certification required
• Associate’s degree required
• 2–4 years of corporate legal experience, including with a publicly traded company preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Self-starter, reliable, professional and able to multi-task
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, Smartsheets and Google Suite
• Willingness to support all members of the legal department where needed
• Ability to deliver high-quality work product with follow-up and follow-through
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with executive personnel, attorneys, staff and employees
