About the Opportunity

Wighmal & Co. is inviting applications for the position of Legal Associate to join its growing litigation and advisory practice. This legal associate vacancy in New Delhi is open to motivated and sincere young legal professionals with 0–1 year of PQE.

The selected associate will work closely on real-time legal matters, develop practical litigation skills, undertake legal research and drafting, and gain meaningful exposure to court proceedings and client advisory.

Location

The position is based at the firm’s office in New Delhi.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely on real-time legal matters in the firm’s litigation and advisory practice.
• Undertake legal research and drafting, including preparing pleadings, applications, legal opinions and case briefs.
• Support the firm in court proceedings and client advisory work.

Eligibility Criteria

• 0–1 year of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)
• Strong legal research and drafting skills
• Good understanding of Indian procedural and substantive laws
• Keen interest in litigation and court practice
• Ability to prepare pleadings, applications, legal opinions and case briefs
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility
• Strong communication and analytical skills
