The High Court of Manipur has notified five vacancies for Manipur Judicial Service Grade-I, to be filled through a Limited Departmental Examination.

About the Opportunity

The High Court of Manipur at Imphal, by Notification No. HCMEST-34/1/2026-ESTT-II SECTION-HCM/2026-27 dated September 16, 2026, has invited applications for filling up of five vacant posts of Manipur Judicial Service Grade-I. The posts will be filled on the basis of merit through a Limited Departmental Examination.

The vacancies are to be filled from the cadre of Manipur Judicial Service Grade-II officers of the service, which makes this an internal career-progression opportunity for serving judicial officers of the Manipur Judicial Service.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be from the cadre of Manipur Judicial Service Grade-II
  • Candidates must have not less than three years of regular service as Grade-II
  • Candidates must have a minimum of seven years of total service rendered as Grade-III and Grade-II combined

Particulars to be Furnished

Applicants should furnish the following particulars in their applications:

  • Name in block letters
  • Father’s or husband’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Permanent address
  • Date of regular appointment or service as a Grade-II officer of the Manipur Judicial Service
  • Date of initial appointment as MJS Grade-III
  • List of documents enclosed

Application Procedure

Applications stating the above particulars, along with attested copies of the documents, should reach the Registrar General, High Court of Manipur at Imphal, on or before September 30, 2026. The notification has been issued under the signature of Ojesh Mutum, Registrar General, High Court of Manipur.
