About the Opportunity
Jay Mothobi Incorporated is seeking energetic and motivated individuals for internship placements. The firm is looking for candidates who are articulate and able to adapt and perform in a demanding environment.
The internship offers a placement for a 1 to 2 month period and the opportunity to work at a prestigious firm specialising in a wide scope of litigation, commercial and banking law. Interns will be able to learn and develop strong practical legal skills and assist on a variety of legal matters in various stages of litigation.
Location
The internship will be based at the firm’s office in Rosebank.
Availability
The placement is available for October 2026 to December 2026, for a period of 1 to 2 months.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of an LLB degree.
- A strong interest in litigation, collections and recoveries, and legal practice.
- An above-average academic record.
- Proficient skills in drafting, communication and academic research.
- The ability to think independently, solve problems, multi-task, and think on their feet.
- Attention to detail and adaptability to different departments.
- A strong work ethic, and a professional, reliable and self-motivated approach.
