About the Opportunity

Crown Chambers is inviting applications for Legal Internship and traineeship opportunities for fresh law graduates and motivated law students who are interested in developing a career in litigation, corporate and commercial legal practice.

Selected candidates may work on live matters and practical legal assignments, subject to the nature and requirements of matters handled by the practice.

The opportunity is designed to provide practical exposure to legal research, drafting, analytical reasoning, case preparation and professional legal communication.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Fresh law graduates may apply.
  • Law students who are genuinely interested in developing a career in litigation, corporate and commercial legal practice may apply.
  • Candidates should be motivated to gain practical exposure to legal work.
  • Candidates are expected to develop strong skills in legal research, drafting, analytical reasoning, case preparation and professional legal communication.

Roles & Responsibilities

Legal Research

  • Conduct legal research as part of practical legal assignments.
  • Support matters requiring legal analysis and research.

Drafting

  • Assist with legal drafting and preparation of legal documents.
  • Work on contract drafting and review, subject to the requirements of the matters handled by the practice.

Litigation Support

  • Assist with case preparation and practical matter management.
  • Gain exposure to live litigation and dispute-resolution matters.

Corporate Advisory

  • Assist with corporate documentation, due diligence and legal opinions.
  • Support corporate and commercial assignments, including matters relating to transactions and advisory work.

Matter Management

  • Work on practical legal assignments and live matters.
  • Develop professional legal communication and analytical reasoning skills.
